Operate Lanesboro Visitor Center - the key support and information touchpoint for thousands of tourists seeking to explore Bluff Country each year
Manage capital improvements of the Visitor Center Depot building and enhance the area with landscaping and other projects in partnership with City of Lanesboro, Whalan and DNR
Maintain a touch screen information computer kiosk for visitors (kiosk.lanesboro.com)
Offer free WIFI at the Visitor Center
Maintain a clean, inviting, user-friendly Visitor Center providing member brochures, business cards, and menus
Handle all email, phone, and through-the-door requests for visitor information

Produce and maintain an inclusive business directory in the Lanesboro Area Visitor Guide (co-sponsored by the Lanesboro EDA, Lanesboro Schools and Dairyland Power grant)
In affiliation with Welcoming America Organization and in cooperation with Lanesboro EDA and CEDA, plan and produce "Welcoming Week" to welcome new businesses and provide networking opportunities.
Public & Media Relations
Subscription to our member-only email newsletter with up-to-date info on what's happening in Lanesboro plus important information from regional, state and national agencies
